Having over 50 years of combined experience in security, investigation and consulting, Guardian provides corporations and individuals a level of professional insight and skill that is unmatched in the Mid-Maryland area.

Many security and investigation companies simply provide guards as requested by the client.  And some go further and conduct a threat assessment, but only the top firms offer a complete line of consulting services.

Why consulting?  Because this approach offers the most accurate level of implementing a complete security solution.  When we identify a need, and communicate with the executive level of the client’s organization, we are able to evaluate the entire situation, then design a solution, and implement it company-wide if necessary.  This approach is completely opposite from how so many security firms operate.  Too often a client will perceive a theft situation within their company and then call for some security guards to act as a tiny measure of prevention and deterrent.  This “net” approach provides peace of mind for only a very brief time, and is seen as a failure when the theft continues.  Often this only serves to alert the thieves and cause them to exercise more caution.  From a consulting approach, our firm might conduct background checks on all employees, examine the critical access points in the physical plant, or evaluate key elements of a policies or operations.  From there we would design a solution and might elect to place an under-cover agent within the client’s company to identify the true source of the problem, implement changes to key systems, etc.  But all of that is only possible if a dialog is opened at the beginning to address the problem in that way.

The scope of consulting vs. providing labor:

The consulting approach allows us much more opportunity to accurately address your needs and provide a real solution.  At the consulting level we are able to make recommendations that might include evaluations and analysis, design and develop solutions, implement company-wide initiatives, survey and interview employees, post under-cover agents, conduct covert surveillance, install specialized software, cameras, and complete security systems, maintain and administrate those systems, and also post uniformed security guards.
